Well, it’s finally happened – we’re in Paris, the last stop on our trip. As expected, we feel kind of sad, and France seems so similar to England anyway. Out of everywhere we’ve been, Paris is very much a city in the way London is a city. They’re both worlds away from Verona, even, which is pretty much walkable in its entirety in a couple of hours. However, we’ve still had a great day here, and have managed to become shameless tourists. We spent almost 4 hours in the Louvre (quite possibly the biggest museum / gallery in the world) and after walking for ages in the baking hot sun, we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower; Pathetic, isn’t it?
