Samantha Cliffe website
CLIENT : Samantha Cliffe
Samantha recently returned from her travels with a stunning portfolio of shots from Mongolia, Vietnam, and China; some photographic gems to accompany her already-impressive collection. She needed a new website to showcase these photographs: something simple, minimal, but with a hint of atmosphere. She also needed it to be easily updatable via WordPress and Flickr. You can view my full write-up of the site here.

CLIENT : Ozbod
Bespoke furniture makers Ozbod approached me to design and build a new site. Keeping the gallery as the main focus of the site, Javascript-powered previous / next arrow allow the user to quickly browse through Ozbod’s impressive portfolio without leaving the page. The entire site is powered by WordPress.

Create a subversive design website & tutorial
CLIENT : .net magazine

Carsonified.com, in its previous state, was simply Ryan Carson’s blog. But with Carson Systems now rebranded as Carsonified, the site had to change. This internal CD-ordering system needed a drastic redesign and the task fell to the Digital Media team at EMI. Eamonn handled the design and then, due to timescale clashes, it was handed to me. I tweaked the design further and then built the XHTML & CSS.

Houston e-card
CLIENT : Parlophone Records / EMI
One of several e-cards for Urban artist Houston; this one being for the single ‘Ain’t Nothing Wrong’. Clearly there is something wrong, though: Houston recently gouged his own eye out in an effort to get "closer to god". Yes, that’s true. And apparently, he says that he is now closer. Well, good for Houston. I doubt I’ll be making any more e-cards for him, though.

My former tutors were so pleased with the promotion I’d done for the Contemporary Media Practice degree show website that they asked me (and this time paid me) to return and design the degree show’s print catalogue. Sourhaze: Bathed In Blue CD packaging
CLIENT : n/a (self-initiated project)
This is where it all began. Actually, that’s not true, but this seems like a good starting point. I released my debut album ‘Bathed In Blue’ in 2001, just about the same time as I discovered computer-aided design (and design on the whole, in fact; prior to this, my focus had been on illustration). I created the packaging for the album and then went on to attempt a website. The rest, as they say, is history...
